CC Bryant
Mr CC Bryant was born on January 15, 1917 to Monroe and Anna Luter Bryant. In 1941 he married Emogene Gooden Bryant and had two children, Gladys and Curtis Jr. He now has 7 grandchildren and twelve great grand children. Mr. CC Bryant is active in religious and interdenominational affairs of the community and serves as Deacon Emeritus at Society Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
He was instrumental in the development of black leadership on the local, state and national level. He lobbied for Civil Rights voting legislation. He served as committee chairman for Health and Recreation, Labor and Industry committee and Education and opportunities for the poor and disenfranchised for the Mississippi State NAACP
