Jackson-Bryant Family Reunion

Greetings Family & Friends!
I’m excited to announce that plans have begun for the 2010 Family Reunion!
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Billie Jackson; I am the son of Cassie Neal and Frank Jackson. My wife is Gladys Bryant- Jackson the daughter Curtis and Emogene Jean Bryant. We are also the 2010 Reunion Coordinators. We are looking forward to working with everyone who is interested in helping – even in a small way – to make this reunion fun and memorable for all who attend.
Several of the Reunion Committee members have met to start making preliminary plans. Our first task was to pick a location and come up with dates in 2010. The dates are set for July 16th -18th , 2010. The location we have decided on is Windsor, CT. The hotel we decided on is The Hampton Inn located in Windsor Locks, CT and is a member of the Hilton Family of Hotels. The costs for the accommodations inclusive of breakfast and tax are $81.00 per night (king or double/double - up to 4 per room). There is an abundance of lodging facilities and other amenities to ensure a wonderful reunion weekend. Family Day will be held at High Meadow Resorts which is located in Granby CT. The amenities include tennis courts, swimming area, playgrounds, nature trails, and plenty of wide-open spaces for our own games (football, softball, volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, etc.), games and prizes. Lunch & Dinner will consist of all the food you can eat (see menu)the fee for this event is $55.00 per person for adults, children under (3) free and children 3-12 are $30.00. All monies should be mailed in by April 15th, 2010 to the address listed below. For those on the daring side we will be offering a trip to one of the states casinos (Foxwoods) on Saturday night at a cost of $25.00 per person.
We hope that you and your family along with your friends, significant others will be able to put this date on their calendars and make it work. The reunion events will begin Friday evening and go through Sunday morning; with some free time built into the day on Saturday. An exact schedule of events will be sent at a later date.
I have attached a form for each family group to return. This information will be used to compile a mailing list and contact group for upcoming reunion letters and information. The Reunion Committee will be working hard over the next several months to ensure that everyone has a great time. If you are interested in helping please let us know. We want to hear your ideas! Please feel free to duplicate copies of this letter or send addresses of other family members that we may not have. We will go through the spreadsheet to eliminate duplicates. It's better to have an address twice than not at all!
I truly hope that everyone that receives this letter will try to make it to the 2010 Reunion. The Jackson –Bryant Family Reunion only happens once every other year; it is a three day event, giving family members (that span seven generations and live from coast to coast) an opportunity to spend time together visiting loved ones, getting to know one another and building relationships to last a lifetime.
